The church that meets at West Booneville has been most gracious to our family. They desire to teach the truth in love and uphold the gospel message. It has been a great blessing to have started working with this congregation since November 2023. Let me inform you a little better about myself.
I was born in 1973 and raised near the village of St. Joseph, IL in farming country. After attending a Christian Church, starting in 1989, I endeavored to preach and teach. I attended college in 1992 and graduated from Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, MO in 1997. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Ministry majoring in preaching. After serving in various Christian Churches in Missouri and Indiana for 5 years; I left the Christian Churches to study my way out of error in 1999.
During the next 5 year stretch from 2000-2004, I worked for Walgreen’s as an Assistant Manager at a few stores in the Tampa Bay area in Florida. It was in Florida that I met my wife and we were married in 2004. After attending a few sound Churches of Christ, I was invited to intern by the elders at the North Blvd Church of Christ in Tampa in 2005. I then did personal work and new convert studies with this congregation until 2009. After my internship, I worked at Chick- fil-A and did part-time preaching in the area for a few years. My family and I relocated to Kentucky in 2012 where I worked as the minister at the Burkesville Church of Christ (2012-2016) and Lyons Chapel Church of Christ in Tompkinsville (2016-2023) for a total of 12 years. Over the years, I have held meetings in various states and preached throughout the South and Midwest. I have written several unpublished books including a 50 page workbook on ‘Why I left the Christian Church’. My motto is the Great Commission: “All authority has been given to Me. Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, teaching them all that I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20). My greatest desire is to see people obey the gospel (2 Th 1:8-9) and continue walking in the truth (3 John 4)!
This year (2024) my wife (Jeanetta) and I have been married 20 years. We are proud of our children son, Lucas and our daughter, Lily.
